Joanne Hornby and Janet Wallbank have been busy at Barrowhall CP practising international greetings and making Maori masks to celebrate both the European Day of Languages and Rugby world Cup 2015!
These were some of the international greeting masks Janet created with the Year 3 beginners at Barrow Hall. They sang a greetings song and then had a go at designing the masks using the language we had learnt. Joanne and Janet then put together a display within the school.
